life insurance money laundering
What is a patriot? In my case it meant leaving the U.S. to live as an expatriate.
For years I have seen government after government – whether Democrats or Republican – Removing U.S. infrastructure and transfer of wealth first of the lower economic classes, and now the middle class (at least what remains of him) in the hands of U.S. real government – a beast autocratic and largely annonymous seems not enough to eat.
The economic crisis — What crisis? This so-called collapse was designed from the beginning – just look at the latest state non-profit of big banks that received thousands of million in ransom from taxpayers. Has anyone stopped to ask the question why the stock market is now rallying even as terrible economic news (such as rampant unemployment and underemployment, not to mention sad business income) is poured through the breech in the dike? It seems that everything goes according to expected – at least in regard to Wall Street. The transformation of wealth continues unabated. Meanwhile, the rest of the world are suffering from this blatant greed, that under the current administration continues at a pace that makes even the former pale – despite the rhetoric. Am I surprised? No way!
And What about healthcare? Is this debate, even ethical? Where is the question, I wonder? How can you be suitable for business to make a profit from the misery of others?
Now I live in a country ranked in the top 15 countries by WHO (the U.S. ranks # 37, believe it or not). Here the health care system is financed by a simple consumption tax. Nobody goes out, and everybody more or less like the system. Similarly, we have no homeless or elderly sticks burning furniture for warmth. The government makes the American people believe that this problem is difficult – it is not. It's actually quite simple. Approve a consumption tax of equal percentage of GDP per capita invested in each citizen's health care. (In the U.S., that is somewhere around 15% of total GDP and are set the same as sales tax is now collected on each purchase.) There is – done, shook and paid. No muss, no fuss. The only problem with this system would be that big insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies would that give undue benefits that occur at the expense of 50 million Americans without health in all, 20 million of them children!
What's more, the States must return their paper money for something – anything real. Gold … A basket of commodities … (I like that approach, I am a great fan of the carbon atom.) Nothing real. Stop borrowing money to finance a pseudo standard of living. Start producing things again. Have you heard of job? "What an idea!
Last if not least, leaders need to become true leaders, not just bottom feeders laundering money stolen from where to find a steal. They have to start telling the truth instead of spinning in confusion every issue imaginable – not to mention the creation of diversions such as swine flu epidemic or imagined enemies or scapegoats.
May not be easy to find (and even more difficult to collect bits and pieces in any package significant), but the truth is out there. You have to dig for it – and deeply! Start digging. Then start singing! Their future, and even his life might depend on their activism. You can not make very popular because one of my heroines, Lisa Simpson once said: "Some people simply prefer the illusion to despair "(credit to Matt Groening), but the alternative is therefore unthinkable …
Then patriatism, I love my country – So I'm sick of what has happened to him – all in the name of greed – so much so I had to take the difficult decision to leave in order to maintain my sanity, and yes, even my personal liberty! It is not too harsh an assessment – not at this point in time – to say they are exhausted – perhaps forever. "The U.S. even exist in ten years? Questionable. Will it be bankrupt in five years? The truth is that it is bankrupt (surely monetarily, spiritually if not – just listen desperate messages and other-worldly motives in American music today!), but leaders of the United States dares not pronounce the word. Without money, USA has little to offer these days (except the kind hearts of some of their best people) because it has undermined its industry, its once proud educational system, its artists, their employers, and even the health and welfare of its people. Is it too late to change all this? Maybe not, if someone, anyone, willing to stand up and say the truth, then act responsibly. Or maybe it's too late, "a culture spiraling into irreversible decline. I repeat: I am a patriot, and I'm very sad when I love the earth I see the seams unravel. So sad, really!
