health insurance sales agent help?
hi all i am an Illinois resident who was offered a job selling insurance in AmeriLife, even during orientation at the half, did not disclose that the licenses would have to achieve health and life insurance ourselves, I would say the company would pay for the classes, etc.. and to be committed to that agency for a period of time. Well, I'm not working at the time and all that together is over $ 400. I wanted to know that a student loan as it is to help cover the class and the other parties? and if there are people out there who is a sales agent if you have health insurance to leave your pocket. is the penalty? Do you like the job? I said the position is VERY lucrative but this is an obstacle in my way thanks in advance for your understanding! ps i really want to do this because this company has its own tracks that I have to pay and there is an advanced Committee. Lovely, there is no response that will help you make this decision, because there are lots of variables. Will it be worth? The opportunity is there, depends on what you make of it. Some agents are making six figures +, by scraping or some agents are not at all. It will take some time to build a business book … is not reached during night. In most cases it takes a year or two to start seeing the fees that you can live. Do you like the job? I love it. I'm an independent agent, I make my own hours and control of how my business. If you go to work for an agency, its still really your business … will ultimately be rewarded in proportion to the amount work you put into it. Make sure you are getting a reasonable fee structure with its agency…70/30 for example. Only a real investigation both as you can. Are you good selling person to person? Can view day after day? Visit some of the online forums for the agents (Journal of Insurance, Insurance Forums) and read some of the questions ask about the new players starting out. You will find answers to most questions there. You find your partner insurance professionals, in case you decide to go forward, being the nicest and most helpful group of people there. Often the word to people I am competing technical with answers to questions, and stop what they are doing to help me. It is an honorable profession. Best of luck.
