Medical Malpractice-issue 2-Week?

We have a doctor's prescription in the hospital for our two week old daughter of acid reflux and we had it filled at Walgreen's. A week and a half later we were taken to the doctor for follow up and found that the pharmacist at Walgreens, had filled the script was wrong and give you 30 times the amount that was supposed to be getting a day! Well, the company that last night represents Walgreen called and offered us $ 1000 if we are saying that Walgreen's sign was no longer responsible for everything that happens in the future in connection with the overdose. So we have to find a lawyer to find out where to go from here, because if it was signed in and have problems in the future, custom insurance coverage, because a condition pre-existing. Any advice on where to go and what to do from here?

Talk to your doctor first. Find out if there is any evidence that could be problems in the future. What was the drug? Some drugs are simply calcium acid, and you can not really an overdose of calcium. Deal with medical problems first, then worry about what could sue in turn to be nothing at all.
