How does Progressive compare your insurance rates with top companies?
How is that possible? I requested quotes progressive before (and was not impressed at all), but how they are able to do that? Insurance companies have used complex formulas to calculate use rates of several factors including driving record, location, credit, household drivers, vehicles, etc. Unless they have robots online to steal bandwidth of the competitors and automatically fill in forms does not seem possible. If that was the case, one would think other companies are progressively block abusing their servers. Any ideas?
Because the rate of books become a matter of public record once filed in the state, like jurisdiction and obtained a copy. All we're doing is using the tables that provide coverage to guess what might be. They can use a worst case scenario or a better cases. The formula is not really as complex as you might think.
