Will my uninsured motorists claim to pay for a rental car until my car is repaired if I live in Texas?
I recently had an accident with an uninsured driver. My claim is "property damage uninsured motorist" claim. I do not have "car insurance". Is rental cost covered by UIM because if the other driver had coverage of liability insurance should cover my rent? rental insurance coverage is comprehenisive collision. I know that in most states essentially act as UIM liability insurance the other driver and cover the costs of rent, but I'm not sure about Texas.
In Texas, if your claim is being covered by UMPD, you are entitled to loss of use with a rental car. Ask to your claims adjuster.
