Has anyone heard of the city of General Insurance? Is it safe for auto insurance over the phone or internet …?

I need auto insurance soon as possible and I am afraid of making a mistake. And comply with any and end up being a mistake. PLEASE HELP! I live in California

Googling "general city insurance" seems to suggest that only operates in Bangladesh! Do not tell me where you live, but if you're in Bangladesh, could be But elsewhere I suggest a company that has heard of, or recommended by friends.
