Medical billing / posting issue – experts please?
I used to work for a billing company and you have a superbill with that diagnosis aprimary knew that an insurance company fails to pay, ie. mental problems, hair loss, obesity, but the doctor I got other problems, such as hypertension that would be the list of medical diagnosis and skip the small uncovered. I think this is insurance fraud. If so, how an audit could be done anonymously? I would love to close them. You can tell he has a beef with this company.
Yes, your fraud …. However, its very difficult to prove. Ultimately, we should begin with an insurer who have "cheated" on some point. Call them. Tell them you want to report suspected fraudulent activity. They have a unity of "research fraud" … Someone will talk w / you & take any information you have about suspected activity … They do not care if you're blowing the whistle, or a patient …. Just wanted to stop. An insurance company would have to request the notes of successes and great bills to investigate allegations … his long and tedious. CYA!
