I found a life insurance policy, the owner was my father.?
He died 8 months ago. This policy shows a nominal amount from March 2004. He was also part of a class law suit action. Does this could mean an amount if the credit insurance money. I would also like to know the meaning of "Measurement of Life" Please, any help appreciated.
I guess politics is in his life and he was the owner. There must be a beneficiary designation or the documents attached to the policy or on file with the insurance company. If the policy is not in your life you or someone else then your life is the measuring life. Measuring life expectancy is the life of the person being covered for a death benefit. This is done in contact with the insurance company and that they provide the procedures to be adopted. In general they will need the completed forms and a certified copy of death certificate in order to process the claim.
