WaMu is FDIC insured?
many people say it is, however, when I visited the website, if you read the fine print on the bottom it says it is not FDIC insured WAMU inc. This is exactly wat he said WaMu Investments, Inc., Washington Mutual Insurance Services, Inc. Investments offered through WaMu Investments are subject to investment risk and may lose value. WWW.WAMU.COM personally am very confused because even people who work at WaMu say their FDIC insured.
This is only in reference to insurance products and investment. Bank accounts would be insured with them. I spared however, as it is likely that breaks very soon (is insured himself, but who needs the hassle), but the bank account and be insured.
