A motorcyclist in his youth Live, Ewan McGregor and his close friend Charley Boorman were inspired to make the exhausting journey from London to New York via motorbike after œJupiterâ read â € € € ™ s Travels – a book by legendary motorcyclist Ted Simon. As McGregor, Boorman and his team approached the city, joined a phalanx of bikers – including Ewan € ™ s Jim's father – who guided the road-weary crew of the line.
